Registry Healer is a powerful and versatile software tool designed to scan your system Registry deeply and to detect all existing errors, which might be causing some considerable problems to your PC, particularly instability and slowness. The program also allows you to select that specific subset of areas in your Registry that you wish to analyze.
The program's main window is fairly plain, and even a bit boring. It basically shows a list of all the areas that will be scanned. Once your first scan has finished, it will add to each area the number of errors found that need correcting. In the top side of the window, there is a toolbar which gives you access to all the functions that the program offers. The first button allows you to start the Registry scan - a new window will open, allowing you to decide if you want to include in the scan only the current user Registry file or the Registry files of all users (this option requires full Administrator privileges, of course). Besides, you may also select which areas of your Registry you would like to have analyzed, in case you do not want to perform a complete scan.
Once the scan process has started, you can pause it or even stop it. Once it has finished, the error report shows all errors in a hierarchical way. Here you can perform additional actions, like select or unselect all the error entries, open the selected Registry key using Windows' RegEdit, open the destination folder - in case the selected key is related to a disk file -, and launch the process to correct all selected items. You can also open the Advanced Settings window, where you can configure a number of parameters related to the overall program functioning.
In conclusion, Registry Healer is a very helpful software program that will allow you to keep a clean, fast, and stable system, though unfortunately its evaluation version allows you to correct a maximum of 19 registry errors only.
